How To Use Your Bub's Maternity Pillow™

1. How To Use: Bub's Maternity Pillow™

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Bring both pillows together at a moderate length.

STEP 2: Set the pillow down on the bed and lie on your side against it.

STEP 3: Softly tuck each pillow beneath your bump and your back.

Up front, we suggest beginning with a light wedge — just enough to take some of the pressure off.

Toward the back, you might prefer a firmer wedge so it keeps you from rolling flat onto your back.

Adjusting is simple, either by

a) Sliding the pillow more to the front or back

b) Changing the pillow length with the adjustable strap

STEP 4: Move the pillow up or down along your body until the support sits exactly where you need it.

Some mamas like the pillow higher on the belly, while others feel that adds too much pressure and prefer it lower.

The same goes for the back pillow — shift it up or down until you land on the support that suits you best.

Note: If your Bub's Maternity Pillow feels too firm against your back or bump, try pulling out a small handful of stuffing and fluffing it up again before lying back down. We suggest making tiny changes at a time to dial in the firmness that fits your body!

STEP 5: After you've settled on the right position and height, add the Auxiliary Pillow in whatever way suits you best:

a) BUMP SUPPORT: For a little extra support on your bump, gently tuck it between your bump and your Bub's Pillow.

b) BACK SUPPORT: If you'd rather have extra support behind you to keep from rolling over overnight, gently tuck it between your back and your Bub's Pillow.

c) LEG SUPPORT: If cushioning your legs and knees feels good, lay the pillow straight between your inner thighs and knees.

2. How To Use: Bub's Maternity Pillow™ + Full Body Attachment

WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS

Here are several ways you can pair your Full Body Attachment (FBA) with your Bub's Maternity Pillow (BMP).

POSITION #1 - RIGHT SIDE LAYING

Fasten it to one end of your BMP and use it as a back pillow (curving downward) for added support along your back and pelvis.

Use the remaining half of your BMP as a knee pillow, and place the Auxiliary Pillow for extra support at either the front or the back.

POSITION #2 - LEFT SIDE LAYING

Starting from Position #1, turn over onto your left side so the FBA cradles your bottom and cushions your legs. This works especially well for mamas dealing with hip and pelvic discomfort.

Add the Auxiliary Pillow for extra back or bump support.

POSITION #3 - RIGHT/LEFT SIDE LAYING

Keep your BMP as the main pillow in its usual setup, and lay the FBA between your legs for the most comfortable support for your hips, legs and knees.

This setup is ideal for mamas with ongoing hip and pelvic pain.

Use the Auxiliary Pillow for extra support at your bump or back.

POSITION #4 (THE HUG) - RIGHT SIDE LAYING

Recall Position #1? Take that same setup and turn it 180°.

This is a favorite for pregnant mamas who love a big cozy cuddle at night, easing pressure on the bump and shoulders while keeping the upper body well supported.

Use the other half of your BMP for leg support to ease hip pain, and the Auxiliary Pillow for extra back or bump support.

POSITION #5 - LEFT SIDE LAYING

From Position #4, roll over onto your side so the FBA stays along your back.

With the FBA curving upward from your bottom to your upper back, you'll get the most support behind you, easing upper and lower back pain and helping keep you from rolling flat (no matter how restless the night!).

Use the Auxiliary Pillow for extra back or bump support — whichever you need most — and slide the other half of your BMP between your knees to take pressure off your hips and pelvis.

POSITION #6 - RIGHT/LEFT SIDE LAYING

You can also just use the FBA as one big hug pillow that runs from your shoulders down to your legs. Perfect for a quick couch nap when you simply want to lie down and rest with no fuss!
